The Deckhands: Those who make TWEAK happen
After much debate here at TWEAK headquarters, the consensus was to call ourselves the “DECKHANDS.” Why? Because YOU run the ship. If you have done your research already you know that TWEAK is all about YOU and the “DECKHANDS” are only here to make sure that ship runs smoothly.
Anyways, enough about that, let’s get into why you clicked on “DECKHANDS.” TWEAK was born from a group of old shoe dogs still trying to figure how to work this whole social media thing into their livelihood, which ironically, are shoes. So, the old dudes hired a few young cats that were Internet savvy enough to make sure they weren’t out of their mind crazy. Needless to say, somehow, somewhere, the two generations collided and meshed to create what you are experiencing as we speak. To borrow a phrase from the gentlemen that launched TWEAK’s first shoe project, Rhett and Link, welcome to the worlds first “open source shoe design.”
